Cobra Fortis Grooved Roller Cartridge 51cm

The Cobra Fortis grooved front roller can be fitted in place of the smooth front roller. The grooved roller improves the mowing of very low and dense lawns by helping to lift the grass before the cutting blades pass over it.

The grooved, indented roller puts more pressure on the straws, which lifts those straws that would otherwise go undisturbed by the flat cylinder. The indentation on the roller also helps you to maintain the direction when mowing. This is very useful if you want to achieve perfectly straight stripes.

Because of the indentation on the roller, it is necessary to be more careful when turning the mower. An insufficient lift of the front roller can cause the mower to get stuck.

The Cobra 51cm / 20 grooved roller is compatible with the Fortis 20B cylinder mower and ideal for use during the mowing season, between March and October.

You can then either have the blades re-ground or simply replace them with a new cutting cassette. This makes maintenance of your cylinder mower much easier and prolongs its life.
